Chinese Percussion | Summer 2023

Join Beibei Wang, a genre-defying international virtuoso percussionist, in an exciting five-day course on Chinese drumming & percussion. We welcome all levels of experience.

Join percussionist Beibei Wang on a whirlwind tour of the many traditions of Chinese percussion! From powerful group drumming on big Chinese drums to fast interlocking rhythms played with cymbals and gongs, come make some noise! We will also learn how to read and speak the traditional oral notations and cover some of the history of these artforms. All instruments will be provided. All you need to bring is your curiosity!
