Join this workshop for all levels led by Muqi Li, an experienced guzheng performing artist, educator, and improviser. Whether you are just curious and want a taster of guzheng playing (learning basic fingering and a simple tune), whether you have some experience, but want to reinforce the fundamental techniques, or if you need help progressing to intermediate/advanced level, then this is the workshop for you. Two of the main guzheng schools, i.e. Shandong guzheng from northern China and Chaozhou guzheng from southern China, will be introduced in this workshop. You will learn these two very different styles.
