The Masterclass aims to allow participants to translate the UN’s 17 SDGs into the practice of actual meetings. They learn what to include in and exclude from “default” meetings in order to achieve better outcomes and on specific SDGs and therefore greater sustainable impact.

The Masterclass introduces the notion that meetings are vital moments in organizational life where leaders exercise their leadership. Thanks to the Leadership Competency Model, they gain insights into how they handle meetings at present, after which they draw up a personal plan on how to further strengthen existing competencies and develop gaps.

Masterclass: Trade and Development in an Uncertain and Changing World

This Masterclass aims to equip participants with a deeper understanding of the global trading system and its relationship with development, sustainability, and regulation. Participants will explore how trade policy is shaped, how it affects business and development priorities, and how to navigate trade-related risks and opportunities in today’s volatile global environment.  This Masterclass is designed to attain these goals: 

  • To improve understanding of the uncertainty and risks inherent in trade and business activities in any economy and particularly in the global economy. 
  • To familiarise participants with the World Trade Organization, what it does and how it works, and why it is under attack. 
  • To understand the importance of regulation in creating markets or changing the way in which they operate. To deepen participant understanding of the problems of delivering development and sustainability through an open trading system.
